never late

have there ever been times when you were late?

have there ever been times when you really needed someone or something at a certain specific time but it was never there?

have you ever needed God to step into your situation and help you?

do you ever wonder if God will come to help you when you need it?

guess what. God can and he will. God is outside of our concepts of space and time. he works according to his perfect timing. and that means that he is never late. God is always right on time.

isn't that amazing to think about? every little detail God has orchestrated together for a reason.

take, for example, what happened to me over the weekend. on Friday, i just so happened to really want to learn how to play "Reckless Love." although at that specific time I could have been playing video games, i chose to learn how to play the song instead. then the next day, we had a meeting for our altar prayer team at someone's house. the prayer team leader had prepared to do some worship songs, but it ended up not working out the way he wanted. as they started praying for the first prayer request, i started playing "Reckless Love" on the piano in the front of the house, just loud enough for them to hear it as they prayed. it really made an impact on their prayer time and created an atmosphere of worship. talk about perfect timing! had i not felt such an urge to learn "Reckless Love" the day before, that situation would not have occurred.

God has a way of working everything out in his perfect time.
