a new direction

It's been a year since my last post. When I wrote my last post, I had big goals for this blog. I was working on creating a brand new website and working on all sorts of new posts.

But sometimes life takes us in different directions.

Blogging has been so important to me. It's been a way I have used my relationship with God to reach others, in so many different ways. I started off writing with my best friend on a multi-faceted blog with videos, fun facts, recipes, and forums. I then felt lead in a new direction to start my own personal blog. I loved writing for Take Heart. It was such a joy to sit down and share what God had imparted to me to all of you.

But did I drop the ball on this blog? Yes, to be honest, I did. I always had it in the back of my mind, but so many new things happened in my life that kept me distracted from this blog.

As much as I wanted to continue writing, God had different plans. He has given me so many new opportunities in various areas to spread his love and use my talents. Right now, writing isn't one of them. I'm being directed elsewhere. That's why I'm writing this post- to let you know that Take Heart is going on an indefinite hiatus until further notice.

As I continue on this path, you can keep up with all that I'm doing by checking out my photography website. Thank you all for supporting me this far.
